Hévíz Dessert – for the first time from Liget Royal Restaurant

Liget Royal Restaurant was honored by Judit Szlavicsek, president of the Hévízkult Association, to be the first to ask them to dream up a dessert special for the now-launching HÉVÍZ DESSER talk show series. Manager Tamás Léhner and chef Tamás Bódis were happy to take on the challenge and will debut with the Őrség Zöld Aranya on the cultural program starting on February 27th.
Hévíz Dessert – for the first time from Liget Royal Restaurant However, those who might miss out on this otherwise unusual event need not worry, because the dessert will be on the menu at Liget Royal Restaurant until the end of March. So, anyone who comes to Hévíz or lives here can come here any day of the week and enjoy the first HÉVÍZI DESSERT either on the terrace with its beautiful four-season view or in the cozy rooms inside.
The public talk show – which will take place in the Fontana Film Theater clubroom – will also be recorded, so those interested can watch it later. Speaking about the cultural delicacy, writer Judit Szlavicsek, president of the Hévízkult Association, told local television:

“Our new format, called Hévíz Desszert, will debut on Friday, February 27 at 6 p.m. The essence of our concept is to launch a talk show where four locals talk with a moderator. It’s an informal conversation about the big things in life, and we select the participants in such a way that they would never have been able to sit at the same table otherwise.”
Balázs Szabó, a local government representative, also expressed his thoughts in front of the TV cameras:
“From the beginning, my goal was for local caterers to get involved in city events and programs, giving themselves an advertising presence. The new program series of Hévízkult is also such an opportunity for them, where they can present one of the desserts on their menu or a completely new creation to the audience. According to the plans, a new restaurant or pastry shop will be invited to each broadcast to promote their product, which anyone can taste by visiting the catering establishment.”

So, Liget Royal Restaurant was the first to join the initiative.
“We are confident that we can fully meet the exciting challenge. After much thought, our chef chose a favorite dessert that will appeal to everyone’s taste, the Őrség aranya, which became the cake of the country in 2016, a familiar taste. We put a little twist on it, shaped it into a “forest” and we are producing this for the event,” Tamás Léhner told the TV station.

The topic of the first conversation will be the power within ourselves. The public recording titled Dessert will be followed by a club event, where the audience can meet in a more informal way for the rest of the evening, in addition to pleasant music, games and a buffet.
