Goat Cheese, Figs, Pecans – Introducing the Stars of the New Menu of Liget Royal Restaurant – Part I

- The main ingredient, the cream made from goat cheese, is accompanied by a grannysmith apple pickled in lemonade, as a result of which the otherwise quite sweet fruit gives the dish a pleasant sour taste. All this is joined by figs, in the form of a chutney with a special flavor, and finally the pecans crown the whole thing.
- As a garnish, a kind of sablé breton is served, which is a type of French butter biscuit, made with a little more salt, because its flavor is sweet by default. You can also eat it dipped or stuffed, as you would with nachos.
- I really like this type of appetizer because it has a lot of flavors layered on top of each other, and we can even share the joy of eating it with each other, here in Hévíz, at the Liget Royal Restaurant.
